The Yev Republics of Transmaad are a cluster of Yev villages situated mostly on the right side of the river Maad, built and administered by P_P_A and June.

The history of Transmaad began with the foundation of Joodfonteinon the 3rd of March 2015, shortly after the expansion of the map. P_P_A found a small, unprotected Yev village at the mouth of the Maad, and decided to rebuild and expand it. He invited June to demonstrate something; the Russian took a liking to the place and took an active role in developing its infrastructure. June lit the area, dug tunnels, and built a zombie grinder, while P_P_A constructed houses, laid streets, and build walls and fences to keep the Yevs secure.

The two enjoyed their work with the Yevs, and thus, after Joodfontein was finished, they continued to develop the area. P_P_A founded Weitenbosch north of Joodfontein, which June helped populate with his necromancy. Shortly after, he laid the first stones for his own town, Maadbach on the left side of the river. The following weeks saw the growth of both villages. Fields and pastures covered the fertile plains of Transmaad; roads and bridges were built connecting the settlements. Most recently, P_P_A founded the coastal town of Wrekenpoort opposite of Maadbach.

The Transmaad is demarcated by the river Maad to the Wwst, the sea in the north and south, and the [placeholder hills/forest] east of Weitenbosch. The Vennbaai in the northeast connects the region to the [placeholder sea] and its many inhabited islands. The landscape is characterised by its wide, open plains, much of which has been converted to farmland.
